Mechanical Service Technician

Calibrate Ltd, part of RSK Group are recruiting for a Mechanical Service Technician to join the team based in the Northeast, Midlands region.

We want you to be an integral part of our team – we are recruiting a full team of Service Technicians capable of building upon our existing superb reputation as the go to Company for Commercial Heat Pumps and CHP systems.

Do you have any of these traits?

  1. Wired like a Duracell bunny – you can just keep going to solve the problem.
  2. Hard working, with the ability to just stick at it and just ‘fix things’.
  3. An interest in Heat Pump technology with software integration.
  4. Like to spend your spare time riffling through technical manuals.
  5. You understand that facts matter, and details are important.
  6. You’re a process driven ‘I can figure it out’ type of person.

Industry experience is not required, you are supported directly by motivated and enthusiastic Engineers with decades of hands-on experience, both in the Company as well as our partner RSK who share the delivery of the goals.

You will:

1. Drive the service side of the Business with high energy and focus.

2. Be hands on and willing to get stuck in as required.

3. Be organised and focussed on delivering the shared vision and bonus scheme.

7. Live and breathe the huge growth vision RSK have committed to in our sector.

8. Have noticed that numbers 4 and 6 are missing because details matter.

9. Lead by example, maintain standards, ethos of the RSK Group.

10. Provide inspiration and motivation to the team.

11. To comply with RSK Group’s and Government Health and Safety Policy, GDPR and HSE.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Technical fault finding of some description preferable.
  • Demonstrable success in the technical arena.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Sound understanding of all commercial aspects associated with projects.
  • Ability to work alongside a large parent organisation.
  • Future potential of a Service Manager position.
