System Upgrades

If your Ground Source Heat Pump isn’t performing optimally, your business will be suffering in performance and profitability.

Add to this the potential that Ofgem could claim back RHI tariff income on GSHPs operating at less than 2.9% efficiency (COP) and it is well worth getting your system checked out by the experts.

This is where Calibrate can help. We assess systems 200kW and above to ensure that your GSHP is at peak performance level, and if not, find solutions to fix it through system upgrades.

Re-Calibrate – Calibrate Energy Engineering

System Upgrades

Not all systems are the same…
… Optimise your heat pump with Calibrate

Calibrate design, install and maintain commercial Ground Source Heat Pumps.  We are experts in Environmental Energy Engineering and for over a decade we have saved our clients millions through innovative and optimised technology.

However, not all systems are equal, we are aware that there are systems out there that were not installed as they should be, and a few simple additions or amends could pay significant dividends.  Do you know if your heat pump is at its best?  Whether you do or don’t, we can assess and identify how to get the best out of your system.

Equally many early adopters of this technology have been over charged (by today’s market standards), leaving client’s being over charged and without a maintenance agreement in place, the technology has not kept up leaving poor performance.  We can intervene to counteract this.

We evaluate systems 200kW and above to ensure that your Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) is at peak performance and if not, recommend solutions to fix it.

Example

A case in point is a new client came to us with an under-performing 5mW system that had been installed by another supplier.

The system was costing £300,000 per year to run with a £600,000 return from Ofgem through the RHI tariff.  Sounds good, right?  Wrong!  It still wasn’t producing the best results.

Following a feasibility assessment from Calibrate, we identified some works to the system that would significantly improve performance.

An investment of £200,000 has reduced the operational expenditure on the system by £150,000 per year, meaning the upgrade has paid for itself in less than 2 years.  With the added security of extra income for the remainder of the client’s tariff (15 years after payback) and the client will benefit from a better bottom line for many years to come.

In addition, the client can rest assured that his re-calibrated and upgraded system comes with up to 20 years warranty to ensure that it continues to perform optimally.

Challenge Calibrate to get optimal performance from your system with a fast return on investment and extra profit.
