Calibrate Energy Engineering welcomed the Rt Hon Anne-Marie Trevelyan, MP for Berwick-upon-Tweed and Secretary of State for International Trade, to cut the ribbon on their impressive 6.2MW Ground Source Heat Pump.

Recently, prices have been rising across many areas due to Covid-19 and Brexit, but the one we're likely going to notice most this winter are our energy bills. This won't just affect household budgets but business budgets too with added pain of political repercussions. 

With energy prices rising, bills are inevitably going to go up too. The only choice out there is to try and mitigate against the inevitable escalation in bills. One way to help is to reduce the energy we use up front to keep overheads down - turn off standby appliances, switch lights off when out the room, reduce the heating temperature, insulate well, buy energy efficient appliances etc.

We are incredibly proud to be featured in the recent Parliamentary Review of the UK’s energy situation.
